There has been a major push from Bonnie Hammer and the USA Network for WWE to step their product up, due to the recent ratings decline.

Apparently Hammer is even sending memos to WWE suggesting ideas and storylines. Reportedly she wants a more Vince Russo-like product and wants to see names like Steve Austin, John Cena, Chris Jericho and the McMahons featured.

Hammer wants WWE to have something like it did back in its Attitude era.

This would be awesome if WWE could return to the attitude era like storylines again. Those times were certainly the best in terms of creativity Wink

Bringing back the attitude era would be awesome, especially more in depth realistic looking storylines. But thing is, can the current creative team out do a Mcmahon/Stone Cold feud?? also that brings me to another point, one of the main reasons why the attitude era succeeded is becuase the WWF/E had a certain good group of guys that they may never have again. Like for example you had the Rock, Foley, Owen Hart, Shamrock, D'Lo Brown, Faarooq, Goldust, HHH, Kane, Taker, Austin, Mr mcmahon(the character was the shit in 98), New age outlaws(who were one of the most popular tag teams of that period). During that time frame they built up and brought in many young stars like Edge, Christian, Hardyz, Kurt angle etc

They don't have that in this day and age
